Superdelegates Expected to Endorse Obama Sometime Soon:
- Sen. Ken Salazar (CO) and Gov. Bill Ritter (CO)
- 5 Montana superdelegates are sent to endorse tonight after the polls close, including Gov. Brian Schweitzer and both senators, Max Baucus and Jon Tester. The WSJ Blog reported that these three superDs are set to endorse Obama, but I read another report that said they will endorse the winner in Montana (which hopefully is the same thing!).- The New York Times reports that at least 8 members of Congress will endorse Obama right after the polls close in South Dakota at 9 p.m. EST, per Obama aides. No names are named, so there could be some overlap with some of the names listed above. (H/T Bitter Elitist).
- 3 Tennessee superdelegates plan to endorse Obama tomorrow: Gov. Phil Bredesen, Democratic Chairman Gray Sasser and at least one other.
