Breaking: Jim Johnson, Obama’s VP vetter Steps down from the Vetting team

Sen. Barack Obama announced today that Jim Johnson has resigned from his vice president three person vetting team.  Because this has become somewhat of a distraction for the campaign, Johnson decided to step down to avoid further disruption of the process.  Jim Johnson was one of the three person vetting team that includes Caroline Kennedy and Deputy Attorney Eric Holder.

This is probably worse news for Sen. Hillary Clinton with respect to getting a veep nod because it sets the bar really high with respect to the drama tolerance level of the Obama campaign.
